11 NAMOI PHUMSUK(PLENG AMATA CHUT PHISET)

After the first post about PLENG KORAT, here is the last re-upload from my previous blog with some more music from Korat.
Though she is not really famous anymore and seemed to had a short (but productive) career NAMOI PHUMSUK gives us a woderfull recording with PLENG AMATA CHUT PHISET. Lots of musicians, a large «tropical» rythm section, some instruments additions such as piano, flutes and strings and the delicious bitter sweet voice of Namoi Phumsuk.

Namoi Phumsuk was born in Nakhon Ratchasima, Esan. Though she was pretty successful in singing contest it seems like some more ambitious "rivals" got she success she would have deserve. Her career doesn't seem to have been very long (I don't have a clue about how many records she released but I have 5 more tapes of her somewhere). She mostly had success outside of Esan (like Sunaree Rachassima who also comes from Korat) as their style were more "urban" and exclusively in thai language, the kind of music that was more popular in Bangkok. The tape we ear today is by far the best I own of her.
